Shelby Kite Festival

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest heights!

It's time again for the annual Kite Festival in Shelby! If you don't have a kite of your own, you can make one (free for kids) or buy one. The festival will also feature face painting and vendors offering food, crafts, jewelry, and other goodies. Bring a lawn chair or beach blanket, and don't forget the sunscreen for this beautiful summer event!

Shelby is a vibrant Montana town on the "hi-line" and boasts a picturesque Main Street lined with locally owned businesses and restaurants. The community of Shelby is surrounded by seemingly endless seas of wheat fields. This area, also known as the "Golden Triangle" of north-central Montana, boasts bountiful wheat and barley harvests.
