Montana is the second state per capita for breweries in the United States with over 80 breweries, so you certainly don't have to go far to enjoy a cold beer right here in Central Montana. Many of our breweries use locally-grown malt barley, so you're literally getting a taste of Central Montana. The town of Fairfield on US Highway 89 proudly boasts the title of "Malting Barley Capital of the World.”
