With 20 years under our belt, Cruisin' the Drag remains the largest free car show in Montana. Set for the first Saturday in May, Downtown Great Falls will fill with car enthusiasts from around the region for Electric City's annual classic Car Show.
This free event is designed to show off the best antique, collectible, and one-of-a-kind cars. Each year this show brings in over 800 vehicles on display ranging from an original Model T to a souped-up Dodge Charger. It wouldn't be unlikely to find a variety of military vehicles, motorcycles, camper trails, and trucks in addition to the classic cars that made the show popular.
Cruisin' the Drag is sponsored and organized by Lithia Subaru of Great Falls in conjunction with the statewide organization Montana Car Shows and Cruises.
At the end of the show, there will be awards in recognition of categories such as: Best of Show, Best Engine, and Best Paint among others.
9 blocks of Central Avenue fill with cars, trucks, motorcycles, and camper trailers owned by the most passionate gear heads around. This family-friendly event boasts over 800 vehicles, from an original Model T to a souped-up Dodge Charger, and everything in between. Adding to the fun is a downtown scavenger hunt, food vendors, and unique shopping only found in Great Falls. Event organizers estimate that over 800 vehicles will be shown and over 20,000 people will attend the show.
