Join us in Great Falls for Much Ado About Nothing on Friday, August 7 at 6:00 PM at the University of Providence Campus.
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks returns for its 54th season, bringing the magic of live theatre to communities across Montana and beyond from June through September. With performances held under open skies and free for all to enjoy, this beloved summer tradition invites audiences of every age to gather for an evening of storytelling, connection, and culture. This year’s tour features two of Shakespeare’s most cherished works-The Merchant of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing-reaching more than 60 towns across five states and creating unforgettable moments beneath Montana’s iconic Big Sky.
This summer’s Much Ado About Nothing captures both the joy and uncertainty of love, reputation, and the powerful influence of community. Set just after a time of war, the lively comedy follows returning soldiers and their welcoming hosts as they navigate romance, clever schemes, and shifting perceptions. Through its vibrant cast of characters, the play reminds us how easily misunderstandings arise-and how honesty, resilience, and compassion can ultimately bring people back together.
6:00 pm
Directed by Johamy Morales.
Shakespeare fans can make a weekend of it - catch the second night in Great Falls of Shakespeare in the Parks on Saturday, August 8 for The Merchant of Venice.
