The Ice Breaker Road Race is one of the premier running events of the state. The race has been named one of the top 100 road races in the country by Runner's World Magazine. Geared toward both families as well as experienced and elite runners, it offers a 5 mile race, 3 mile run and a 1 mile run/walk.
The 44th Annual Ice Breaker Road Race will be held Sunday, April 27th 2025..Join over 3,400 runners, joggers and fitness walkers who enter the race each year. Participants range from recreational walkers, families enjoying an outing, to serious competitive runners. The five-mile road race offers a competitive format; and the three-mile run offers both a competitive and recreational format. Pacer the Penguin will be entered in the one-mile race and will be challenging kids of all ages. Register the entire family in the one-mile jog and fitness walk and take advantage of our special family rate.
