Neihart residents celebrate their town each Labor Day weekend with the Big Doings and I Heart Neihart Music Festival. The celebration is also the main fundraiser for town improvements. Breakfast and duck races kick off the day, and the evening music festival features performances from several local and regional bands. The day's highlight is a friendly(ish) softball game between the towns of Neihart and Monarch. Afterward, everyone reconciles with a community potluck.
