Get Your Kicks at 6 - Rob Quist with Halladay Quist

The Get Your Kicks at 6 concert on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m. at the Choteau City Park band shell will feature the music of Rob Quist and his talented daughter, Halladay Quist, .

The performance is free to the public and those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Public restrooms are available just across Spring Creek on the east side of the City Park, and the Pavilion will accommodate the concert if the weather is bad.

Farmers market, food and beverage vendors will be at the family-friendly.

Rob Quist, a multifaceted artist and musician, is a notable figure in Montana’s cultural landscape. Quist has made significant contributions to the state’s music scene over the years. Known for his versatile talents, he is not only a celebrated singer, but also an accomplished songwriter, instrumentalist and actor. Quist’s musical journey gained momentum with the formation of the Mission Mountain Wood Band in the 1970s, a country-rock group that gained national acclaim, and has been labeled as the best band ever to come from Montana.

Halladay Quist was born with music in her blood. She began her musical endeavors at the age of 6, on the road with her renowned musical family and used those experiences to develop her distinctive songwriting voice and unique musical talents. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, stand-up bass, banjo, ukulele, piano), Halladay brings to the stage a sultry vocal blend of country, bluegrass, folk rock and blues in her own original music along with popular covers appealing to a broad range of audiences throughout the northwest.
