Visit Blaine County Museum before June 30th, 2024 to see "Briskly Venture, Briskly Roam: The Life and Legend of Yellowstone Kelly", a travelling exhibit on loan from Western Heritage Center, Billings! This fascinating exhibit chronicles the life of Yellowstone Kelly and his experience as a hunter, scout, and explorer in 1870s Montana. While Kelly is most often associated with the Billings area and southeast Montana, he also traversed Missouri River Country and the Milk River Valley - he was a scout during the 1877 Nez Perce Flight, present at the Battle of Bear Paw, and he was a friend of General Nelson A. Miles.
