Re-Do at Comfort Inn & Suites

I had a chance to tour the recently upgraded Comfort Inn & Suites the other day.

The hotel is located in The Marketplace in west Great Falls, an easy exit if you are coming to Great Falls on I-15. You take exit 0 and then go a few blocks. It’s a quiet area, away from the main route feeding The Marketplace, but close to area stores and a theater.

The Comfort Inn & Suites has a total of 88 rooms including 22 suites.

The results of the recent renovation were impressive. They have maximized space and I liked the layout of the rooms. And, I liked the decor – very modern and sleek.

I was also very impressed with the lobby re-do.

The lobby used to double as a breakfast bar and check in area. Now there are comfy chairs, computer/internet work zone, some cool decorations and artwork that fits this area.

I visited with the front desk staff person while I was waiting for my tour. As this photo shows, she enjoys her job, enjoys people and has a happy outlook on life! Now, that’s just what I want to see after a day of traveling so I’d say she is in the perfect job.

The breakfast area is completely new – it used to be a small meeting space.

I got the scoop of what’s for breakfast and I get hungry just thinking about it! They have five hot items including make-your-own waffles in two flavors, biscuits and gravy (OK, I don’t like biscuits and gravy but my son loves them), eggs and a breakfast meat.

Other hotel amenities include complimentary airport shuttle, business center, 24 hour fitness center (no excuses for not exercising) and on site laundry.

The lodging rooms include microwaves and refrigerators, WiFi, high def flat screen TV and they have suites with views of the city.

Here’s a photo of the breakfast area. I like the colors and decorations. One of the small framed photos on this wall is taken by a staff member and the photo will change with the seasons.

It’s always nice to see upgrades at our area hotels. Comfort Inn and Suites in Great Falls did a great job.
