Pretty Drive on MT Hwy 80

As we left the Square Butte Country Club we decided to take a different route back to Great Falls. We drove on MT Hwy 80 to Geraldine, then kept going until we almost reached Fort Benton.

This photo was taken at an interpretive kiosk between Geraldine and Fort Benton. The kiosk is surrounded by ranch and farm land. You have great views of the Highwood Mountains, the notable square butte and round butte features and you can also see the geologic formations unique to the area. It is definitely a photo op!

Our great spring weather was turning a little breezy but we still had warm sunshine and mild temps.

All in all, it was a beautiful day for being out and about in north central Montana.
