About Lazy B Bar & Cafe
Established in 1883 as Hotel Augusta, this historic, small-town gem has many stories to tell. The Lazy B Bar & Café has endured a devastating fire that destroyed most of the town, floods, renovations, several proprietors and a few name changes in its long, storied history. Step inside and spend some time looking at the ranch brands from across Montana. If you spend enough time here you may be witness to a visit from our resident ghost, George.
While you are here you can enjoy the lively full-service bar for food and drinks or dine in the Lazy B Canteen for a more quiet setting. The Canteen is also a great option for a large group. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menu options include a variety of sandwiches, burritos and egg scrambles for breakfast. Choose from pizzas, paninis and sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, pasta dishes and a ¼ lb. NY style hotdog with our famous chili sauce and locally sourced roll for lunch and dinner. We serve Montana made Wilcoxsons Ice Cream and Morning Light Coffee. We have an ATM on site for your convenience.
If the weather is nice, head outside into the Lazy B Corral, relax in the sun and enjoy a meal or beverage at the bar, on a bench or one of the picnic tables under an umbrella. Make it a point to stop by the place to B in Augusta!
