Benton RV Park is located in Fort Benton city limits, birthplace of Montana. It is in north-central Montana on Highway 87 between Great Falls and Havre. The Missouri River runs through the town of Fort Benton, which is right on the Lewis and Clark Trail. There are also various outfitters and guides that offer canoe trips, one-person kayak trips, and boat trips through the White Cliff area on the Missouri River. Other attractions in Fort Benton include two museums that offer local history, the reconstructed Historic Fort Benton, and a golf course. Old Shep, a faithful dog, lived and died in Fort Benton--come and hear the story.
