
Sun Canyon Weed Whacker Rodeo

Event Details
Volunteers wanted! Bring your family and spend the morning improving our natural resources by pulling weeds in the forest in Sun Canyon! Check in at Beaver Creek Picnic Area in Sun Canyon (follow signs from Augusta) at 8:30 am. We'll pull knapweed until midday, then SRWG will provide lunch, awards, and door prizes for volunteers. Dress for unpredictable MT weather and don't forget your sunscreen. We will provide work gloves, water, bear spray, and lunch.
Event is hosted by the Sun River Watershed Group and occurs the second Saturday in July every year. SRWG works with partners to restore and protect the resources of the Sun River watershed and its communities.
