Each holiday season, the Lewistown Area Chamber of Commerce brings the magic of Christmas to downtown Lewistown with its annual Christmas Stroll, a beloved Central Montana tradition. This year’s festivities will take place Friday and Saturday, November 27-28, 2026.
The Christmas Stroll is a festive, fun-filled celebration that brings the community together to kick off the holiday season. Visitors can enjoy a full day of downtown shopping, cozy firepits and s’mores, the Jaycees brunch, the community tree lighting, Christmas caroling, the Santa Shuffle fun run, a Christmas book sale, special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, festive window displays, and so much more!
The holiday excitement continues Friday evening with the Christmas Parade, which will travel down Main Street at 5:30 p.m. Parade participants will line up on 7th Avenue in front of the Library. Following the parade, many floats will make their way to the Fairgrounds to be featured at Bright Country Nights, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday and 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
Whether you’re shopping for unique gifts, enjoying festive activities with family and friends, or soaking up the sights and sounds of the season, the Christmas Stroll is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays and experience the warm community spirit of downtown Lewistown!
