The Get Your Kicks at 6 concert on Thursday, July 11, at 6 p.m. at the Choteau City Park band shell will feature the music of the Michael Armstrong and the Prairie Fire.
The performance is free to the public and those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Public restrooms will be available just across Spring Creek on the east side of the City Park, and the Pavilion will accommodate the concert if the weather is bad.
Farmers market, food and beverage vendors will also be at the family-friendly event.
Armstrong is a young man raised in Bozeman who has fallen in love with country music and playing it. He is heavily influenced by the Texas music scene and draws inspiration from performers Chris Knight and George Strait and everyone in between. With the help of his band, he wants to light up a room with his love for country music.
