Get Your Kicks at 6 - Live Music Thursdays in Choteau!
Traveling through Choteau this summer? Make your Thursday evening special with Get Your Kicks at 6 - a free, family-friendly concert series held at 6 p.m. every Thursday in July and August at the Choteau City Park Pavilion Bandshell (204 Fourth St. NE).
August 7 features the sibling duo, Brigid and Johnny Reedy from Southwest Montana. They are known for their captivating blend of Western Americana, cowboy poetry, and diverse musical influences including Western swing, gypsy jazz, and blues. Brigid, a gifted fiddler, singer, and storyteller, has been performing since age two, while Johnny, a talented multi-instrumentalist, brings rich rhythm and depth to their sound. Together, they create performances that weave music and poetry into vivid portraits of life in the contemporary rural West.
Presented by MSU Extension in Teton County, the Choteau Lions Club, and the Choteau Chamber of Commerce, this weekly event features live music, local vendors, food trucks, and refreshments for all ages to enjoy.
Bring along a lawn chair or picnic blanket, and be ready to tap your toes or hit the dance floor! Concerts will move inside the Pavilion if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
Come enjoy a summer evening filled with music, community, and small-town charm!
