Did you make a New Year resolution to exercise more in 2019? Have you ever wanted a view of the Missouri River from the top of the NorthWestern Energy dams? Are you a bicyclist looking for a great race to add to your calendar?
Look no further!
June 15 marks the third annual Beyond the Dam festival in Great Falls. This annual event is sponsored by NorthWestern Energy. The festival offers timed intermediate and advanced bike races in addition to a FREE 2-mile family fun ride/walk along the mighty Missouri River. Each of the routes cross the Missouri River at several of the NorthWestern Energy dams, which are usually closed to public crossing.
Registration will open March 15. Proceeds from the event will go to the River's Edge Trail.
Enjoy a day of outdoor recreation followed by live music, entertainment, food, and giveaways under Montana's Big Sky!
