About Winifred, Montana
				At thirty minutes south of the 
Missouri River and twenty minutes east of the 
Judith River, Winifred is the perfect place to start a float trip or to take a break after a long day on the river. The historic McClelland Ferry operates seasonally crossing the Missouri north of Winifred. The centerpiece of town is the community center which houses the post office, town government, library, emergency services, events center, and the 
Winifred Museum. The museum displays over three thousand Tonka Trucks (from 1947 on) and also has exhibits of life on the plains from the prehistoric to the present. Lodging and dining are available in Winifred along with river outfitters and hunting guides.
