Bynum Montana

Elevation: 3,941 Population: 25 County: Teton

While on the road from Choteau to Browning take time to stop in Bynum. With a population of only a few dozen, Bynum has survived for over one hundred years. Today Bynum is most famous for its dinosaurs. Displays at Bynum's Two Medicine Dinosaur Center contain some of the most unique and important fossils in North America. These include a seismosaurus, believed to be the world's longest dinosaur and the first baby dinosaur bones found in North America. Visitors can tour the dinosaur center or participate in a dinosaur dig.

Bynum also boasts a general store, post office, one room school and Trex Agate Shop featuring one-of-a-kind jewelry, fossils and other gift items.

After exploring the Dinosaur Center and Agate Shop, drive west to Bynum Reservoir, and boat, water ski, swim or fish on one of Montana's premier walleye waters. Or, head further west to the Blackleaf Wildlife Management Area for unlimited hiking and wildlife watching opportunities.
