Montana Festival of the Wind

Posted May 22, 2008

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind. The answer regarding what to do on the weekend of June 20 – 22, 2008 is to experience Harlowton’s Festival of the Wind 2008!

A sampling of events includes a motorcycle rally, rodeo and road tour, alternative energy conference, tours of the nearby wind farm, golf scramble, 20 mile bicycle ride, fun run, arts & craft sale, chili contest, kite building, windbag contest, dance and musical entertainment.

What a great way to sample central Montana’s unique energy and maybe, if you’re an old windbag, you could contribute to the windbag contest!

More details are available at the Harlowton Chamber of Commerce website http://www.harlowtonchamber.com/
