About Dry Wolf Campground
Dry Wolf Campground is located along Dry Wolf Creek among meadows, spruce and fir trees at an elevation of 5900 feet. There are 25 campsites in this is scenic and tranquil campground. Maximum trailer length is 32 feet. Pets are allowed if on a leash. This is a pack it in, pack it out campsite.
The campground was a Kiwanis Club project in 1930 and in 1937. It was improved by the WPA. The campground reflects all these influences plus improvements made by the Forest Service during the 1960s. The Bandbox Mountain surrounds the campground where marine fossils can be found. Limit of 10 people per site. Please limit stay to 16 days. A fee is required for the use of this campground.
Group camping is available by calling the District office for reservations.
