Join us in Choteau for Much Ado About Nothing on Monday, August 10 at 6:00 PM at the Weatherbeater / TASGA Grounds in Choteau .
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks returns for its 54th season, bringing the excitement of live theatre to communities across Montana and beyond from June through September. With performances staged under open skies and free for all to attend, this beloved summer tradition invites audiences of all ages to come together for an evening of storytelling, connection, and culture. This season features two of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays-The Merchant of Venice and Much Ado About Nothing-touring to more than 60 towns across five states and creating memorable moments beneath Montana’s iconic Big Sky.
This summer’s Much Ado About Nothing celebrates both the joy and uncertainty of love, reputation, and the influence of community. Set in the aftermath of war, the lively comedy follows returning soldiers and their welcoming hosts as they navigate romance, clever schemes, and shifting perceptions. Through its dynamic cast of characters, Shakespeare shows how easily misunderstandings take root-and how honesty, resilience, and compassion can ultimately restore trust and connection.
Directed by Johamy Morales.
If you can't make this performance, head to Augusta the following day, August 11, for a repeat performance of Much Ado About Nothing.
