The Military Vehicle Preservation Association is bringing a convoy of 45 historic military vehicles through Hwy 200 on July 31st. Their first stop is in Winnett, then Grass Range and finally Lewistown on July 31st. It's free and open to the public.
The Convoy commemorates the Lewis and Clark Expedition and the westward journey of the Corps of Discovery by traveling approximately 2,100 miles in a column of privately owned historic military vehicles. The route follows the explorers’ 1804 -1805 path from near Fort Mandan to the mouth of the Columbia River at Fort Stevens, near Fort Clatsop.
