About Two Dot, Montana
Its unusual name has always made Two Dot familiar to most Montanans. The name comes from "Two Dot" Wilson, an early cattleman in the area who branded his cattle with two dots - one on the hip and one on the shoulder - making it almost impossible for a rustler to alter the brand. Two Dot sits on the banks of the Musselshell River near
Selkirk Fishing Access, and the Two Dot Bar is a popular spot for fishermen and other recreationists to relax and enjoy a burger after a long day on the river. The town's population has plateaued at around seventy and most residents are involved in agriculture.
