7 Lazy P Outfitting

7 Lazy P Outfitting, a hidden gem......

The 7 Lazy P has been in continuous operation from the same location since 1931. Located in the Helena-Lewis&Clark Forest on the Rocky Mountain Front, the historic 7 Lazy P Guest Ranch has a main lodge and several guest cabins situated around a big yard.

SUMMER PACK TRIPS......

7 Lazy P Outfitting's main focus is to provide extraordinary pack trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness during late June to early September. These energizing trips all start and end the 7 Lazy P Guest Ranch. A trip into the Bob will refresh your soul as you enter a new dimension of peace and solitude. It's a great place to unplug and reconnect!! To see, hear, and feel the wilderness from the back of a horse with the mule string packing all the gear, is truly astounding. Explore iconic destinations such as the Chinese Wall, Switchback Pass, Sock Lake, and Headquarters Pass. The scenery and campsites are incredible. Trips vary in length from 4-10 days.

We also offer trips focused on fly-fishing. These trips offer a great opportunity to fish amazing streams. There are no crowded waters where we fish, and the fishing is incredible! Cast into remote streams with a backdrop of stunning scenery.

GUEST RANCH.....

At the Guest Ranch, we offer cabin rentals, horseback rides (when horses are available), a venue for group events such as retreats, family reunions, weddings, and workshops. Listen to the Teton River or walk over and fish it! The big yard is setup with horseshoe pits, corn hole games, a fire pit, and several places to sit and relax and breathe that fresh mountain air. Lots of opportunity for hikes.

We offer limited accommodations during the winter. A great place to base out of to cross-country ski or hike and ski-tour at Teton Pass.

FALL HUNTS....

7 Lazy P Outfitting offers a variety of hunting opportunities from traditional backcountry wilderness hunts to lodge and private land hunts. We offer fully-guided, unguided, and drop camp hunts for archery, early season rifle, and general season for elk and deer. If you are lucky to draw a special permit, we have the expertise to guide you to your trophy species in those areas as well. Hunts offered early September to mid-November.
