Take A Stroll on the River’s Edge Trail

Posted June 17, 2008

River’s Edge Trail winds its way along the Missouri River as it travels through Great Falls, Montana. This non-motorized use trail is on both north and south sides of the river and bypasses Black Eagle Falls, Rainbow Falls and Crooked Falls.

The trail is paved for approximately 12 miles but as you reach the edges of the city, it becomes gravel for single track use. City parks, historic districts, interpretive panels and ADA access from parking areas combine to make this trail one of the best!

Detailed maps of the trail can be downloaded at http://www.thetrail.org/
