Follow the Sun Canyon Road 27 miles to Mortimer trailhead parking. The North Fork Sun River Trail 201 starts across the road. Follow the North Fork Trail along the reservoir for 2 miles to Big George Creek. The Big George Gulch Trail 251 starts a short distance west of the creek.
