Help us celebrate National Recovery Month, as we walk & run in solidarity for all who have been affected by addiction.
National Recovery Month is celebrating 30 years this September. On September 27, The Sober Life will be hosting the first ever Sober Life Recovery Run. Community partners will be at the event to help spread awareness and understanding about mental and substance use disorders. Please join us as we celebrate those in recovery and remember those that have been lost to addiction. This is a family-friendly event. There will be games, music & a BBQ following the run.
Registration is FREE. Shirts are limited, so please register early. This run is open to anyone who wishes to participate. Register on Eventbrite.
The event opens at the Pavilion in West Bank Park at 5:30 p.m.
The 5K race begins at 6:00 p.m.
The 1K race begins at 6:15 p.m.
What are my parking options for this event?
The Recovery Run will take place at West Bank Park near the pavilion. You're best bet for parking is to drive to West Bank Park by taking 17th Ave NE off 3rd St. NW near TireRama. Turn right near General Distributing and take another right near the back of Pacific Recycling. This will put you on the road along the Missouri River and will lead you to West Bank Park.
This event is FREE, but do you take donations?
Donations are welcome. There is a spot for donations in the registration form on Eventbrite.
Are t-shirts guaranteed?
No, we will have a limited supply. They will be given out after the race in order of those who registered first. We will do our best, but cannot guarantee sizes.
