Havre Trails is excited to host the 4th Annual Summer Brewfest in Havre’s Pepin Park on Saturday, August 20th from 2 to 7 pm. The event will feature dozens of Montana beers, live music, and food. Food vendors will include The Streatery, Pretty Paint Catering, Bear Paw Bowls, and Chachi’s Tacos. The event music will open with Havre’s own Corey Kopp, followed by Bubba Fett, a psychedelic electricana band out of Livingston, MT, whose sound draws from bands like Mazzy Star, Cat Power, and Cowboy Junkies.
Cost for an 8 oz beer taster and 2 fills is $20, and each additional fill costs $2. Those who wish to drink must be 21 and bring an ID, regardless of age. Non-drinkers are welcome to visit the food trucks and enjoy the free live music.
The Summer Brewfest is a fundraiser for Havre Trails, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and improve recreational trails in and around Havre. Proceeds from the last three brewfest events allowed Havre Trails to create the Rotary Canyon Loop Trail north of Bear Paw (Second) Lake and the new Brough’s Coulee loop off of the Bear Paw Nature Trail in Beaver Creek Park. Attendance at the brewfest helps Havre Trails to continue to bring exciting projects to the area.
