Full, Half, and 5K marathon through the Bear Paw Mountains
Runners will enjoy the thrill of running through the beautiful Bear Paw Mountains! The Bear Paws (as the locals call them) were named for the unique formation of the island mountains, which resemble a bear's outstretched paw. In the foothills of the mountains are the pristine lakes and rolling hills of Beaver Creek park, the largest county park in the nation. This unique race is a must for all marathoners!
There are no bears in the Bear Paw Mountains- but you’ll run like there are.
7:00 am Bear Paw Marathon
8:00am Bear Paw Half Marathon
9:00am Bear Paw 5K Fun Run/Walk
NO parking is available at either the full and half marathon start line. As part of the entry you are provided with bus transportation from the MSU-Northern Armory Gym south parking lot (300 13th St W, Havre, MT 59501).
The buses for the Marathon will leave at 4:45 AM. The buses for the Half Marathon will leave at 6:20 AM, and the 5K at 8:15 AM.
Please arrive early and load the buses and in a timely manner to make sure you arrive at the start line on time.
