Why is Gibson Park the Jewel of the park system? Because it offers the widest variety of amenities of any park in the system. Weddings, concerts, events, or just enjoying a day in the park, Gibson Park has something for everyone. Gibson Park offers beautiful flower gardens, a pond with waterfowl, Historic Vinegar Jones Cabin, a bandshell, a walking path, playground equipment, basketball courts, picnic areas, and stained glass art displays. The park connects to the River's Edge Trail. The pond offers outdoor iceskating during the winter, and the bandshell hosts city band concerts in the summer.

Reservations are available for picnic shelters and open space areas. There is a $35-$100 rental fee. For more information call 406-771-1265.

The Gibson Flower Gardens have a beautiful rock archway and wall at the south end of the flower garden and a brick pathway that winds throughout the garden. It provides a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. The rental fee for weddings is $75 for two hours and $25 for each additional hour.
