I recently toured the new Blackfeet Painted Tipi exhibit installed at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls, MT. The colorful and educational exhibit details different tipi designs used by the Blackfeet tribe from northwestern Montana.
This exhibit will remain at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center through summer and fall so it will be a great excursion for visiting friends and family. During this same time, many demonstrations and talks are given at the Center, some inside, some outside in the center’s River Camp.
The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center is located on the banks of the mighty Missouri River just a few minutes from downtown Great Falls. The Center overlooks Black Eagle Falls, one of five waterfalls portaged by the expedition as they traveled through what is now known as Montana.
Come and learn about this epic journey that explored the Louisiana Purchase after it was acquired by the United States.
